I made this guitar for my own use two years ago. I used the finest
wood I could find, and was able to put together a really fine guitar. After much thought I have decided to part
with it, and have refinished it for sale. It is in "like new" condition, with only minor indications that it has been
played.
A wide range of tone can be produced with this instrument, from bright and
crisp to the darker "Spanish" timbres. It has a 64 cm. scale and is very easy to play, especially for those with smaller
hands. Volume is superb, without losing the definition provided by strong fundamentals. Separation is good, with
strong basses, clear trebles, and a smooth mid-range.
This guitar is one of my earlier guitars. Close inspection will reveal a few minor inconsistencies
in the fit and finish - nothing you can see from a foot or two away, but full disclosure is the rule here. Accordingly,
I have priced this guitar at $1,250, which includes a hard shell case and shipping. I, and others, have compared
this guitar favorably to instruments costing more than twice as much, and the outstanding quality of the wood speaks for itself.
I feel confident that the intermediate to advanced student will be very pleased to own, play, and perform
with this instrument. I will, of course, be happy to answer any inquiries.
